Stumbling across this sign made me laugh so hard. Please tell me that this was not just a local phenomenon but that this amazing deal on “Chicken Things” is also available in your local Whole Foods Market. what went right – this week the new term started for painting class. It’s amazing how happy those three hours a week in the studio can make me. I confessed to my teacher that I had started to hate my painting – that I had to turn it to the wall at home. There aren’t many warm fuzzies warmer or fuzzier than an I love you from a little one. Relief. I step out of my condo early yesterday morning into lovely cool morning air. A couple hours later when I leave for work the temperature still reads only 80 degrees. I open the sunroof and both windows. I can only vaguely remember life outside of the air-conditioned bubble but I do remember I liked [...] My parents’ house sits on small rise in their property. The house is a good-sized house – it once would have been considered large but doesn’t compare to today’s McMansions. The property sloping away from the house is big enough that it resembles a park more than a backyard. At one end sits the garden.
