I was out of sorts last week, for unreasonable reasons. To sort out this out of sorts state I wanted to make something. Something tangible. But for some (again) unreasonable reason, I felt it had to be a little brainless and completely unrelated to the projects that feel as though [...] progress – stitch by stitch I have some amazingly prolific friends who post newly completed creations to their blogs just about every week. Often multiple times per week. Me? I have to content myself with posting progress on my work. So on the rare days I had a few hours and a chicken carcass to spare, I would dutifully pull together a stock. Afterward I would guard it jealously. Because real [...] crossweave necklace with pendant I have always wanted to try my hand at a little jewelry-making and finally did it. This is the first project in a book called Stitching Beaded Jewelry. It was fun, fairly easy to figure out, and a little addicting. I have a lot of beads now to play with. [...] |
