So this rest of this year is not going to be one for adventuring, unfortunately. I’ll be doing a lot of work to get healthy and staying close to home. I decided to make an effort to start getting out to do some of the local things I have always intended to try but have never gotten around to. But I hadn’t made any efforts yet. I hadn’t even really made a real list. I’m not one of those people who believes that if you throw it out to the universe it will happen (oh boy would my life look different if that were true) but shortly afterward a friend texted me that he had free tickets that night to see the Washington Kastles.
The game was great fun. A nail-biter into overtime. Definitely worth checking off the list.
I wanted to add pictures of my normal Saturday morning errands. Mainly pretty pictures from the farmers market. But my trip was not quite normal. The exit I normally use to get there was camouflaged by all the trees having been cut down so I drove right past it. That was just the start of a morning filled with detours and wrong turns. So I arrived flustered and forgot to take pictures. Still, it was a normal errand-filed Saturday morning. Something to savor.
