Saturday I spent a little time with some serious quilters. They were very gracious to me – not mocking me for completely having a brain block about where to begin. I cut strips for one of the quilts I’m making for the 100 Quilts for Christmas project. I indulged my love of texture by buying some minkie to back the quilt. But I’m now trying to figure out how to include it on the top as well. I can imagine something this soft being a real comfort to a child in need.
