My aunt, when stuck behind a slow driver, will say, “he’s driving like a man with a hat on.” Try it with a central Pennsylvania drawl and an attitude of weary dismissive frustration. You might find it satisfying.

But you know, if I had a choice between the hats people wore in the first half of the century vs the baseball/trucker hats of today… I would definitely choose the hats from way-back. Fedoras are just cool.
